Branches of state, proposed
No branch has been constituted. No institution exists; no office is filled. What appears here is a proposed framework, clearly labelled as such, that mirrors a conventional separation of powers.

Four proposed branches
Executive, legislative, judicial, and independent oversight. The structure mirrors how a self-governing digital nation could be organised. None of it is enacted.
Executive
Executive (the President)
The Constitution establishes the President as the head of state, elected for a fixed term, with discretionary powers over certain Bills, investigations, and appointments. The President acts on the advice of the Cabinet, which is led by the Prime Minister. No President has been elected and no Cabinet has been appointed.
Legislative
Legislature (Parliament)
The Constitution establishes a Parliament with the power to enact laws, authorise expenditure, and amend the Constitution (with certain Parts protected by referendum). Parliament has not been convened; no members have been seated.
Judicial
Judiciary (the Supreme Court)
The Constitution vests judicial power in the Supreme Court of Xity. Judges are appointed with security of tenure. No judges have been appointed and no court has been convened.
Financial authority
Financial Authority (XFCB and XFBA)
The Constitution establishes the Xity Financial Currency Board (XFCB) to manage the currency peg and the Xity Financial Board and Authority (XFBA) as the principal monetary regulator, operating the Xity Central Bank. Neither body has been constituted.
On office holders. Every office is currently vacant. The procedure for appointment is not yet defined. No names are listed because none has been appointed.
